About our lessons...
All lessons include preparation. Students arrive a half-hour before their scheduled times to groom and put tack (bridle and saddle) on their horses. After the lesson, expect to spend another half-hour to take off tack, brush the horse and put it into its stall.
Riding Lesson Fees:
· Group lessons are $35 per one-hour session
· Private lessons on our school horses are $55 per hour
· Boarders enjoy reduced lesson fees

Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance of scheduled lesson time to avoid charges.
2012 Summer DayCamps at Free Wind Farm

Want to learn to ride? Wonder what’s involved in caring for or owning a horse? Learn to read a horse’s body language, ride at a walk and canter at Free Wind Horse Day Camps for ages 7 through 14.
Hands-on lessons include:
- Mounting & dismounting
- Feeding
- Grooming
- Hoof-picking
- Tacking up
- and Much more!
Camp includes:
- One English riding lesson each day
- Visits from a vet and blacksmith
- Horse care and safety sessions
Accepting only 10 riders per session!
Cost is $300 per week; $150 deposit to
hold your spot.
